　and 20ft containers in particular are chronically in short supply.

・In addition, changes to European routes (from avoiding the Suez Canal to the Cape of Good Hope due to the recent situation in the Red Sea)
　have resulted in longer voyages and delays in the return of containers.

Shipping companies’ response

・Shipping companies are sending containers back from ports where there is surplus capacity.

・We especially recommend booking 20ft as early as possible.

・We encourage you to consider using multiple shipping companies in case you are unable to secure a booking.

・Since forwarding containers generally increases costs, there are concerns about an increase in ocean freight charges.
